Heather Barnes has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian since 2002 in various roles and settings. However, her passion has always been for one on one counselling and helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. She specializes in general health/disease prevention, weight-loss, sports nutrition and heart health and meal planning. Also passionate about fitness, Heather enjoys a variety of activities such as weight training, martial arts and dancing. She competes in Fitness competitions and has won many titles and competed in various organizations. Originally from the East Coast, Heather completed her BSc in Applied Human Nutrition and Dietetic Internship through Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
